The SPA MAROC exfoliating gloves exfoliate very effectively but gently, without scratching or damaging the skin. The skin is then velvety soft, well supplied with blood and can absorb creams and moisturisers particularly well. This allows the skin to regenerate well, eliminate toxic substances better and is less susceptible to diseases and allergies.
Traditionally, exfoliating gloves are used in the hammam. There, the body is soaped several times, rinsed with hot water, exfoliated with the glove and rinsed again. The exfoliating gloves are usually used in the shower or bath, but can also be used in the sauna or steam bath. It is usually sufficient to exfoliate once or twice a week. However, daily exfoliation is sometimes good for thicker or blemished skin. You can also exfoliate more often in warm and humid climates, for example. The skin has very different individual needs and is also constantly changing, e.g. due to hormone fluctuations, climate, diet, light, etc.
There are no absolute rules. What is right for the majority may be wrong for your skin. Therefore: Always listen to your skin and follow what is good for your own skin.

Before using for the first time, you should wash the exfoliating glove with shower gel, shampoo, soap or detergent under running water or, even better, in the washing machine.
Soak the exfoliating glove in warm water right at the start so that the fibres become saturated. This makes it softer and even more effective.
The softer the skin is, the softer and more effective the exfoliation will be. The skin oil protects the skin from moisture and prevents the skin from becoming soaked and vulnerable in everyday life. Warm water dissolves the skin oil and at the same time promotes blood circulation in the skin. Basically, the warmer the better, but only to the extent that it is comfortable. A hot bath is good for a young, healthy person, can help cure colds and boost the metabolism. However, it is also very stressful for the circulation and can even be life-threatening for people with previous illnesses, the elderly or children. Just like warm water, soaps of all kinds dissolve the skin's oil and thus enable thorough cleansing. For a particularly thorough exfoliating effect, a soap foam bath or salt bath is therefore more suitable than an oil bath. Afterwards, however, it is essential to oil the body or apply a rich body lotion to protect the skin sufficiently. The skin is open, the moisturising substances can penetrate deeply and are absorbed particularly well. This allows your skincare products to work optimally and the skin becomes velvety soft, even and smooth. Regular exfoliation followed by oiling/creaming has a wonderful anti-ageing effect and keeps the skin healthy, firm and elastic.
If you exfoliate in the shower, it is not advisable to soap the whole body every time, as otherwise the skin balance will be disturbed too much. The glove also only exfoliates with warm water. Good to know for allergy sufferers:
You generally don't need soap, warm water and the glove are enough.
At the end of the shower, bath or sauna, rub the damp skin with the glove in circular movements, then rinse thoroughly with plenty of warm water. Only use on the face if the skin is not sensitive and apply gentle pressure. We particularly recommend the FIRST CLASS glove for the face, but the CLASSIC is also suitable for young, healthy skin. As a general rule: It is better to massage gently and more often.
The peeling gloves contract strongly on contact with water, but remain elastic so that they fit the hand like a second skin. To prevent bacteria and germs from settling in the peeling gloves, which would be spread over the skin during the peeling massage, wash the glove under running water with soap, shower gel or shampoo after each use and hang it up to dry. Never leave it crumpled up and damp, otherwise it will go mouldy. Wash in the washing machine after the third use at the latest
Machine wash in a laundry bag at 60°C (95°C is possible)
Hang the glove up so that it can dry quickly or, even better, dry it in the tumble dryer to optimally counteract the formation of germs.
